Silversphere, a leading manufacturer and provider of life safety systems for seniors, is currently seeking a candidate to manage and perform factory installations on a Regional and in some cases a National basis. The candidate must have a minimum experience of 3 years in the low voltage electrical industry or comparable skill set, such industries include nurse call, fire alarm, telephone, and security/access systems, and information technology. 

Candidate must be located in one of the following areas: 

  • Richmond/Northfolk
  • Dallas/Fort Worth
  • Denver
  • Las Vegas
  • Seattle 

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Manage/Perform pre-install site walkthroughs, on-site installation, programming, troubleshooting, and final inspection of the system. 
  • Train End User Customer and fulfill other customer service related responsibilities.
  • Provide supervision of sub-contractor crews the installation of low voltage systems to include but not limited to: Pulling wire/cable, installation back boxes and devices, programming of equipment, training of end users and other customer service related functions.
  • Manage multiple Project budgets, work execution timeline and resources. 
  • Coordinate between General Contractors and Sub-Contractors for job site work schedule.
  • Out of Town Travel is approximately 75%.

Qualifications required:

  • Excellent attitude, work ethic, attention to detail mindset and organizational skills are a must.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • 3+ years’ experience in electronic/electrical systems installation 
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer and standard business software to include but not limited to: MS Office products, web based CRM, and Project Management applications. 
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Valid and current driver's license with good driving record.
  • Must pass a drug and background test.

Qualifications desired:

  • Military Technical Systems Training or College Degree.
  • Background in the low voltage electrical industry, to include AC/DC Theory and proficiency with common electronic test equipment.

COMPENSATION: 

  • $50,000+ Salary, plus benefits and a company vehicle (Commensurate with experience, education and ability.)

Physical Demands And Work Environment

  • While performing duties of job, associate is required to walk, stand, frequent and extensive travel in personal and rental cars, air travel

This is a full-time position that supports outside Sales Executives and deals with customers or prospects that contact the Sales Department directly. This position contributes greatly to good customer relationships and enables the field sales team to spend more time selling.
