Silversphere recognizes that every community can’t afford the latest emergency call technology. This year we’re awarding a free Emergency Call System to one outstanding low-income not-for-profit senior housing community in need. The awarded community will receive a brand-new emergency call system, including installation and real-time management reporting, at no cost.

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or a tribe/tribally designated housing entities located in the United States that have a stated mission of providing housing to low-income seniors.
Silversphere is accepting applications now through December 31, 2018. The recipient will be announced in February.
The new Silversphere ATMOS™ Emergency Call System will include: all main components, such as central equipment and wireless access points; resident devices, such as pull cords and pendants; staff devices, such as pagers and staff-reset pendants; installation; and one year of STRATOS™, Silversphere’s internet-based management reporting solution. This is a non-cash grant.
Our wireless repeaters require 110V power outlets to be available in locations throughout the community. If during our project planning process we discover inadequate 110V power outlet availability, the community will need to make those power outlets available at their expense. Also, a responsible onsite staff member will need to be made available for a few hours during the planning process to be our project ambassador - making decisions for the community and coordinating onsite activities. All care staff and managers will need to be made available at the conclusion of the installation for training.
The grant will be given to a selected community in need that demonstrates the importance of bringing housing and services together in a safe and caring environment to meet the needs of lower income elderly. Applications that include specifics or stories, and indicate how the business will improve and resident lifestyle will be enhanced with the award of this system, will receive additional consideration.
